Our story
Our business was started by Mr Henry Stanley (known as Stan, now deceased) after he came to England from his native Poland following the end of the Second World War in 1948. Since then we have been providing quality watch and clock repairs and sales for the past 63 years.
Stan's daughter, Janet, joined him 25 years ago and has been fully trained by her father. She now runs the business with her husband, Simon. Originally based in Dorking, the business has moved to its purpose-built, secure and fully-insured workshop nearby in Brockham, Surrey.
Our services
We specialise in restoring and repairing all types of antique clocks ranging from longcase/grandfather clocks to English bracket and skeleton clocks to fine French mantel and carriage clocks.
Repairs to modern and mid-20th century clocks can also be undertaken and, if you have a vintage electric clock that is idle and not in use, we can convert it to a quartz movement.
We undertake complete overhauls, repairs or minor adjustments as well as offering routine maintenance on all types of antique and domestic clocks along with vintage mechanical watches. Dials and casework can be restored, new wheels can be cut and fitted and any necessary replacement parts can be made to its original pattern and specification.
Collection & delivery
We offer a collection and drop-off/set-up home visit service within a reasonable 25 mile radius of our workshop. We can quote for additional distances. Simply contact us using the link or scroll down to the contact form below and we will respond as soon as possible.
Our guarantee to you
Should any issues be found once the movement has been disassembled and inspected, we will stop work and contact you to discuss any additional costs involved. We are a member of the British Horological Institute. All our work comes with a 12-month warranty.
